On 21st and 22nd of February 2022 , the Department of Mathematics conducted a two day workshop on the topic Befriending Math : The Fun Way. The resource person was Rev . Fr . Sumon Jose Uzhunnallil, SDB ( Administrator , Mount Don Bosco , Padivayal) . Different strategies for the effective learning of Mathematics was introduced to the students. Easy tips and tricks were taught to solve Math problems in a simple way .
Students enjoyed the session called Fun Time, where they got an opportunity to solve various puzzles in a group. It was an amazing and informative workshop and all the students took part in the session with great enthusiasm and vigour .
It was a fun class that helped us to get rid of the thought that Maths was a difficult subject. We got taught about how to study maths in a friendly and fun way. Puzzles about maths was given to make us understand about geometry. We understood everything.It was totally interesting.It gave us a chance to make Maths a simple and interesting subject.It was truly interesting and amazing.
It was a very nice session. It makes the maths more interesting for all of us and it gives more easy tips of learning and understanding the maths. The session was more enjoyable with the puzzles along with the friends.Love the session a lot.
Mathematics is a magic…if we learn it with fun in an enthusiastic way.We all have a mindset that Maths is a difficult subject.But the workshop on Mathematics by Fr.Suman SDB helped a lot to change that belief. In that workshop we really enjoyed Maths as a day out.The Keywords,Challenges and Puzzles were all very interesting. Group activities were very smooth that we didn’t feel it as a Mathematics workshop. Thank you dear Fr Suman.Also thanking Fr.Varghese ,Principal and teachers of Mathematics department for organizing such a worthy learning day for us.
It was an amazing workshop i really enjoyed everything and learnt many new tips. After this workshop i really understood and have learnt many new things and how important math is in this era, I’m really appreciating the efforts of Fr.Principal teachers

It was a nice class. we enjoyed it. There was a lot of puzzle games it was interesting and sir gave us lot of questions. Sir thought us so many tricks in multiplication. Sir divided us into 10 groups. It was a wonderful class and we understood that doing maths in a fun way is easy. Sir told some tips to do math easy way. It was a super and cool class. Thank you .

First of all thanking all the teachers, father and the Event host for making this program a wonderful one! The workshop was very interesting and fabulous. Especially SIR was very nice to the students and was patiently clearing all our doubts. The most interesting was the puzzles I really liked it, it was fun! I am very pleased that I was a part of the event.
