The Department of Science (LP) conducted a video presentation on 21/ 02/2021 on the topic ‘ An Expedition through My Science Textbook’ by Class 4, as a revision module for the main concepts that the students have learnt throughout the year. The key concepts were explained through hands on activities, demonstrations, experiments, specimens etc, by 19 students. The benefits of peer learning, learning by doing, exploring and applying the knowledge acquired, analysis and synthesis of the concepts, developing creativity etc were aimed to achieve through this presentation. The student tutor method was also highlighted and utilised. The whole programme
was intended to achieve schema on perception, to interpret the information and thus to help to activate schemas.
