The meeting started with a prayer song by the LP students. The Principal Fr. Varghese Edathichira (SDB) welcomed the gathering. Fr. Shibu Davis Parappilly (SDB), the Rector and Manager inaugurated the academic year 2022-2023. All the teachers of KG along with the student representatives lit the candle as a symbol of knowledge. Fr. Shibu Davis Parappilly (SDB), distributed the academic materials and the blessed the KG representatives. Fr. Saju Puthussery (SDB), the administrator felicitated the gathering. Fr. Kuriakose Shasthamkala (SDB), the Vice Principal introduced all the teachers and read out the rules and instructions of the KG section. Children of LP were dressed up in different cartoon costumes to welcome and entertain the new students. After the function, student lists were read out by the respective class teachers and students along with their parents were taken to their classes. Diaries and sweets were distributed to the children and further instructions were given by the respective class teachers. The session ended by 11 am.
