A webinar on ‘ Solar Energy – A Renewable Energy ‘ was conducted by the Science Department ( LP ) on 22/01/2022 by Mr. Antony Sachin, Mechanical Engineer, TKM Engineering College, Kollam. The webinar was intended to give an awareness to the young ones on how the present non-renewable sources are running short. During the interactive session children put forth relevant queries on the benefits of solar energy, wind energy and so on. The solar panels working in the Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery, was also discussed during the webinar. The webinar was a success in enlightening the young minds and widening the horizon of knowledge in solar energy – the future sustainability force. The webinar was very informative to all the students.
