The Department of Science (LP) organized a webinar on the topic ‘Safety on
Road’. Mr. Sabu Kochupurakkal (ASI of Police, Cheranellore station), gave an
informative class on ‘Road Safety’. The important points like crossing the road , the
need of wearing seatbelt, the rules that we should follow while walking or cycling
on the road, how to deal with the strangers, the safety measures to avoid accidents
were shared through slides. This webinar helped the participants not only to
acquire knowledge but also to develop life skills. Children were given emphasis on
how to safeguard their life. This webinar gave an awareness to our children to
practice the safety measures in their daily lives.
