We celebrate Colour’s Day every month. Children and teachers come dressed in a particular colour and bring objects and craft work of the same colour to decorate the classes. Rhymes of different colours are taught and the students speak about the objects they have brought.
Children are divided into groups and they bring fruits and vegetables. Vegetable salad and fruit salad are prepared by them and they speak about the fruits and vegetables they brought.
Classrooms are decorated in such a manner as to resemble a restaurant. Children dressed like chefs with apron and cap prepare dishes without using fire and knife. This helps them to describe what they see and taste.
