INAUGURATION OF CISCE PRE-SUBROTO CUP NATIONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT (U-15 BOYS)

The air at Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Vaduthala, was electric with anticipation and pride as the CISCE Pre-Subroto Cup National Football Tournament (U-15 Boys) was officially inaugurated on 16th July at 5:00 PM in the school auditorium. The occasion was graced by the presence of our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive and Secretary, CISCE, whose dignified presence added immense value to the event. Adding to the excitement were the Guests of Honour — the celebrated footballing twins of Kerala Blasters fame, Mr. Mohammed Aimen and Mr. Mohammed Azhar — shining examples of youthful passion and perseverance. The dais was adorned by a host of distinguished dignitaries, including Mr. Arnav Kumar Shaw, Manager, Sports & Games, CISCE; Rev. Fr. James Mullassery CMI, Secretary, CISCE Kerala Region; Rev. Fr. Shibu Davis SDB, Manager, Don Bosco School; Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Shasthamkala, Principal, Don Bosco SSS Vaduthala; Rev. Fr. Josh Kanjooparambil SDB, Sports Coordinator, Bangalore Province; Rev. Fr. Shino Kalapurackal SDB, Sports Coordinator, CISCE Kerala Region; Rev. Fr. Manuel Gilton SDB, Vice Principal; Rev. Fr. Joby Sebastian SDB, Administrator; Mr. Shaju M.P., Joint Sports Coordinator, CISCE Kerala Region; Mr. Vishal Vincent, Coordinator, Pre-Subroto Tournament; Mr. Syamnadh G, Sports Coordinator; and Mr. Praveen Jolly, PTA President. The inaugural ceremony was not merely a formal assembly but a vibrant celebration of youthful energy and sporting spirit. A colourful array of entertainment programmes — from rhythmic dance performances to soulful musical renditions — showcased the cultural vibrancy and talents of our students, lending warmth and joy to the occasion. The event heralded a magnificent start to the tournament, setting the stage for days filled with passion, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence.
