Don Bosco Football Academy

The Don Bosco Football Academy, based in Kochi, Kerala, is a premier football institution founded in 2016. Known for its achievements in the Kerala Premier League, the academy made history as the first team to represent Kerala in the National Qualifier Round of the Pre Subroto Mukherji Football Championship. Affiliated with the Kerala Football Association, the academy is lauded for its dedication to fair play and its robust Football Nursery and development programs nurturing young talent. Recognized by the AIFF with a 1-star rating in 2017 and a 2-star rating in 2018, 2019 the academy has also excelled in the All Kerala Academy League conducted by the KFA, claiming the championship in the Under 15 category and runner-up in the Under 13 category.

The Football Academy has achieved significant milestones in the 2024-2025 period, securing AIFF 2-Star Accreditation. This accomplishment reflects our commitment to developing young talent, providing top-tier training facilities, and adhering to the highest standards set by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). The accreditation process evaluated multiple key criteria, all of which our academy successfully met.
Our academy is one of five academies in Kerala, and we are proud to be among the select few that have earned the prestigious AIFF 2-Star Accreditation.

MISSION
We are on a mission to shape young men and women of future through a value based education perpetuating a prominent standard of quality in youth sports by manifesting excellence through coaching. We aspire to encourage and inspire youth of all ages and backgrounds, to develop a passion and absolute love for the game, by creating environments for players that allow them to express their passion through innovation and creativity, thus allowing each player and team to achieve their personal best; through efficient and effective problem solving, no matter the situation.

ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2023-2024
CHAMPIONS OF NATIONAL PRE SUBROTO MUKHERJEE CUP FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT UNDER 17 CATEGORY
Our football team became the winners at All Kerala Pre Subroto Cup held at Trichur and qualified themselves to the All-India CISCE Pre Subroto Cup Kolkata and became winners, which made them eligible to the International Subroto Mukerjee Cup Football Tournament, Delhi conducted by the Indian Airforce in association with the All-India Football Federation. The players are Roshith Joshy, Adarsh Paul, Ebin Paul, Avin Rockey, Bharath Thomas Telson, Brandon Xavier, Neel J Kattikaran, Ashwin Benny, Gerald Ebanezer, Jyotish R Prem, Sashang Gurung, Abel Jose, Ivan J George, Jithin C Gilesh, Abhay K S and Ben Joseph.
Roshith Joshy is selected to International Subroto Mukerjee team based on his performance in the tournament and he represented the Subroto Mukerjee team in All India Football Federation Elite Youth League. He is also awarded with Scholarship from Indian Air Force.

Our U-14 became winners All Kerala Pre Subroto Cup, Trichur and got qualified to participate in All India CISCE Pre Subroto Cup tournament held at Cochin representing Kerala Team. The players are Vinayak K V, Nickylen, Dhaneshkem, Delvin Jackson, Samvedh, Joseph Ben, Adwaith, Chrisbin, Goutham, Adarsh P M, Alen, Abhinav Raj, Aman Joseph, Athul Raj, Madhav, and Antony Elroy.

Our U17 girls football team became the winners of the Kerala CISCE Football tournament, held at Kochi. Ann Joan Theresa, Shalom Tiara Telson, Asin Maria Shaju, Ann George, Alphy Thomas, Anjess Treesa Kiron, Treasa Deon Mendez, Evorn Ann Kaduthus, Nomitha James and C K Maria Yazhini represented Kerala in the All-India CISCE Football tournament held at Thiruvananthapuram.
RUNNER UP OF ALL INDIA CISCE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT UNDER 17 CATEGORY
Kerala team consisting of 10 Don Bosco Academy students (Roshith Joshy, Adarsh Paul, Ebin Paul, Avin Rockey, Bharath Thomas Telson, Brandon Xavier, Ashwin benny, Gerald Ebanezer, Jyotish R Prem, Sashang Gurung) participated in the All India CISCE Football Tournament U-17 category and became the Runner’s Up.
