As part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, the Income Tax Department joined hands with the school community on October 27 for an Outreach Programme that resonated with this year’s resounding theme – “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
To spread the message among young minds, a series of competitions such as essay writing, poster making, and slogan writing were conducted for students of Classes VIII, IX and XI, inspiring them to reflect on the significance of integrity and accountability.
In the afternoon, an insightful presentation on the theme “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility” was held, deepening awareness of the values that safeguard transparency in society.
The session was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri. Binoop A., Inspector of Income Tax, Shri. Rohit Kumar, Income Tax Officer, and Smt. Sumitha M.S., Inspector of Income Tax. The programme concluded with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, honouring the creativity and awareness of the young participants.
