The meeting started with a prayer dance. The theme presentation  5C- the conceptual tools, in the 21^st century, namely- collaboration, communication, citizenship, creativity and critical thinking. These skills were introduced to the spectators by a narrator, through different playlets each ‘C’ was enacted by a group of DB students. Finally the narrator correlated the three pillars of Salesians’; loving kindness, reason and religion to the 5 C’s. The climax playlet manifested ‘Saint Don Bosco’ with the fire of wisdom in his hand along with the players parading with letters ‘EVER BETTER’. The Play was intended to emphasize the importance of Saint Don Bosco’s three Mantras- loving kindness, reason and religion and the motto of our school. With the tableau in the background, narrator invited the present disciples of Don Bosco to light the candle as a symbol of lighting the fire of wisdom in the young minds. To ablaze the spirit, teacher and student representatives led the prayers.  After this invocation service, the programme continued with welcome speech, inaugural speech; during which the new teachers were introduced and welcomed- and felicitations. Senior secondary students performed a dance and the programme coordinator Ms. Lissy delivered words of gratitude. At 10.30 am, the programme ended with the national anthem.
