The Department of Malayalam (LP Section) organised a seminar,
‘Kuttikalude Koottukaran’ on 10th March, 2022. Mr. Sippy Pallippuram,
a renowned poet and author of children’s literature, was the resource
person. He addressed the students about the importance of reading,
quoting the proverb ‘Vaayana Vaasanaykku Valam Aakanam’. The
students were excited in singing poems and songs. The seminar began
with a welcome address by the Principal, Fr. Varghese Edathichira (SDB)
and the Rector, Rev. Fr. Shibu Davis Parapilly (SDB) gave the
presidential address. The LP Incharge of Don Bosco Senior Secondary
School, Rev. Fr. George Kalangara (SDB) also graced the occasion with
his presence. The convenor of the seminar, Ms. Jincy Jose, presented the
vote of thanks. The prizes were also given to the winners of the All
Kerala Inter School English Elocution Competition and Kala Kairali
Competitions, along with the event.
