As we celebrate the 74^th Independence Day, we look back on the brave souls that surrendered their lives to make us free today. India pays respect to all leaders who fought for India’s freedom in the past. Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Vaduthala celebrated the 74^th Independence Day on 15^th August, 2020.The programme began with the Holy Mass. Rector, Fr. Shibu David Parappilly SDB unfurled the National flag in the presence of Rev. Fr. Benny Neeliyara SDB, Principal, Fr. Varghese Edathichira SDB and staff on the occasion of Independence day celebration at Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Vaduthala on August 15, 2020.

Rev. Fr. Benny Neeliyara SDB addressed the gathering. Mr. Hibi Eden, Member of Parliament gave the Independence Day Message. Putting into practice the norms of social distancing, wearing of masks and proper sanitisation the management and teachers enthusiastically participated in the flag ceremony and singing the National Anthem. Cultural programmes were conducted for the students by the teachers igniting the patriotism in them.
